SOCIAL EVENTS

Joan Mayhew leads this group assisted by a small band of helpers. The Committee adding help as and when necessary.

The Social Group has proved to be a very popular activity for this U3A, with many visits being repeated to cater for the number of people wishing to take part.

Our quizzes are especially popular and take part at the Meadow Covert public house several times a year, including our popular annual Christmas Quiz Night.

Thursday, 28th March 10:00 am	Glass blowing on Tollerton. No placves left.
Monday, 1st April	Quiz Night at Meadow Covert. Sign up and pay no later than 1 week before.
Tues 30th April	Bell Foundry, Loughborough The world's largest working bell foundry. Cost = £10
Tuesday 21st May 10:30 am	Museum of Timekeeping, near Newark Cost = £10
