The Grantham Canal at Gamston
Edwalton and Gamston are districts on the eastern edge of Nottingham city. This U3A aims to provide leisure, friendship and learning opportunities for those who are in the third age (usually meaning retired or semi retired). Started in 2014 and now into our 9th year, with a vibrant and growing membership, we always welcome visitors and new members. We are affiliated to the national u3a Trust (the UK umbrella organization). Our motto is "Live, Laugh and Learn". Registration No. 1021/999/14. |

Our monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 1.30pm (except August) At the Edwalton Church Hall Next Monthly Meeting - Thursday 9th May 2024 Our guest speaker is Nina Dauban who will tell us about "What you didn't know about Charities" Non U3A members can attend these monthly meetings (as a guest), to find out what goes on and decide if they would like to join as a member. Future Speakers Thurs 13 June: Rev Canon Alan Haycock will reveal ‘Confessions of a Country Vicar’ We charge all attendees £1 at these meetings, this money goes to help this U3A pay for the venue and with running costs of the organisation.
